Take the Harm Out of Pharma and Industrial Crops

'The federal government's regulations of pharma crops do not address the possibility that pharma crops could contaminate seed production. As a reaction, The Union Of Concerned Scientists has launched a campaign to call on the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for immediate regulatory action under the Plant Protection Act to prohibit the outdoor cultivation of genetically engineered food crops for the purpose of producing pharmaceutical and industrial chemicals.'
