Copenhagen, Denmark
Ungeren (the youth house) in Copenhagen is from the 14th of December and onwards under threat to be evicted by the police at an unknown date. It started in 1982, an occupied house was after a long struggle given to the squatter movement by the commune. It has since then been a self governed hot spot for culture, concerts and activism. In 2003 the house was for unknown reasons and against all agreements sold by the commune to a right wing religious sect. All attempts of negotiating a solution have failed, and a confrontation is now unavoidable. If in the area your support will be needed.

The project intersects with recent public debate in Copenhagen about air pollution in the city. In collaboration with Senior Scientist Jørgen Brandt from The National Environmental Research Institute in Denmark a first prototype is developed for making an indicator that can be placed in the city and display local levels of pollution as well as pollution forecasts on individual streets. The project holds an open source script for displaying data from the Internet in a variety of forms.
